So I updated to 3.4.2 WP and since then my EasyRecipe plugin has disappeared, unformatting all my webpages obviously.

When I first logged in, I got a message which said that I was missing a plugin file for EasyRecipe and now it does not show up in my plugin list at all, neither active nor inactive. When I try to do a fresh install of the addon, though, I get this message:

    Destination folder already exists. /home/content/66/9573966/html/wp-content/plugins/easyrecipe/

    Plugin install failed.

I’m not really sure how to go about removing that destination folder. I also wonder if I do manage to get EasyRecipe installed again if I will have to reformat all my existing pages once again?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    Hi,

Delete the folder html/wp-content/plugins/easyrecipe/ and re-install the plugin

You won’t lose any formatting on your existing recipes although if you customised any of the settings you’ll have to reset those.

Thanks! Did that and it installed fine, took me a while in my not quite caffeinated enough state, haha.

Thanks again for your help =)
