Sounds like a conflict with your theme or other plugins. There is a large section on known conflicts and general troubleshooting help on http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/easy-fancybox/other_notes/

I already know the plugin in conflict is “Recipress”, that’s a good thing. I’m using Graphene theme. General troubleshooting didn’t help me at all.
Recipress generate the content of my article, by turn it off, i lose all my content.
Due to the fact the “automatic mode” is not working, how can i do it manually? I know how to use fancybox but i have no idea how to do that in wordpress. I need to launch fancybox on a small pic which have to open a larger pic.
    Thanks

sweetflavors, I’m not familiar with Recipress but if you say that all your content is gone after disabling it, it sounds like a pretty intrusive plugin. Does it present your content via Ajax requests? If so, you can not make FancyBox work on its content unless you know what event gets triggered after each content load…
