Hi Mad, that’s not a bad idea. I don’t have time to work on it right now but I will take a note for future development.

For now, you could try to take the embed code and strip out the iframe src URL to use to link to from your site with a link with class=”fancybox-iframe”… For example, if the embed code looks like this:

    <div style="width:425px" id="__ss_10579458"> <strong style="display:block;margin:12px 0 4px"><a href="http://www.slideshare.net/wilgengebroed/leweb2011-10579458" title="Leweb2011" target="_blank">Leweb2011</a></strong> <iframe src="http://www.slideshare.net/slideshow/embed_code/10579458" width="425" height="355" frameborder="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" scrolling="no"></iframe> <div style="padding:5px 0 12px"> View more <a href="http://www.slideshare.net/" target="_blank">presentations</a> from <a href="http://www.slideshare.net/wilgengebroed" target="_blank">Esther Gons</a> </div> </div>

then the URL you are looking for is the one wrapped in <iframe src=”…” which in this case is http://www.slideshare.net/slideshow/embed_code/10579458

Now insert on your post or page, when editing in HTML view, the code

    <a href="http://www.slideshare.net/slideshow/embed_code/10579458" class="fancybox-iframe">Watch my slides</a>

And do not forget to activate the iFrame functionality on Settings > Media > FancyBox 🙂

    Great! thanks 🙂
