    You can use the plugin Custom CSS that loads after the fancybox.css to add extra rules that will affect your fancybox content.

    Something like:

    #fancybox-content {
    font-size:16px;
    }

    Thank you so much RavanH for your reply. This works perfectly.

    Can I ask where I can get a list of other CSS parameters that I can use to change the look of fancybox.

    Many thanks!!

    Sorry, I don’t know of such a list… There are many tags available, but I can tell you the main ones:

    #fancybox-overlay
    #fancybox-wrap
      #fancybox-outer
        .fancybox-bg
        #fancybox-content

    If you want to see them all, I can advise using the Google Chrome (or the open Chromium) browser to visit your site, then click any content to open in FancyBox and then right-click that content and select ‘Inspect element’… You’ll get to see the DOM structure that is wrapping the content and all the parts that make up FancyBox 🙂

    Thanks for the tip RavanH. You’ve been very helpful.

    Cheers

    Hi RavanH,

    Had a look at all the elements using ‘Inspect element’ and I can’t for the life of me find the element/tag that controls the width of the pop up window when I’m trying to display in-line content.

    The in-line content window is defaulting to current browser width less a few px and I’m trying to restrict it to a maximum of 710px. Is this possible?

    In the case of inline content, you need to give that inline content size parameters that FancyBox will be able to read. Like:

    <div id="myinlinecontentID" style="width:710px;height:400px" ...

    If you need relative sizes with max width you might experiment with something like “width:80%;max-width:710px;…” but I have no idea if that will work at all.

    RavanH,
    can you tell me how I can change the default font in easy fancybox so that my description/caption text is Georgia?

    I am using it in conjuction with nextgen, but not sure which is controlling the description text.

    thanks..
