[Resolved] [Plugin: Easy FancyBox] Can I have more than one gallery per page?

  • I have a photo page with four different photo albums.

Each album has a single thumbnail displaying onscreen that, when clicked, will open up a FancyBox overlay for that particular album.

I’ve hidden images for each album in a separate div with a class of “fancybox-hidden.”

However, when clicking on any of these thumbnails, the FancyBox overlay that opens includes all images that are in all of the hidden divs, and not only the images associated with one particular album.

Is it possible to do what I’m trying to do?

Yes, but you’ll have to do some work:

    1. Deactivate the Auto-gallery option under FancyBox / Images & Inline content on your Settings > Media admin page.

    2. Open the page with multiple galleries for editing in the HTML tab and give all the image link tags a rel attribute. Use different values for each of the four galleries.

    Hope that’s clear 😉

Oh, and please note that disabling the auto-gallery option will affect all other pages… So if you have other galleries somewhere, you’ll need to give those links their own rel attribute too!
