Buttons are not seamless. the button pieces are not together. Please see my page at http://damiondreher.com/?page_id=24
Looks to be a minor CSS conflict with your theme. We’re in the process of improving the purchase buttons (moving from images to CSS3).
In the mean time are you able to add some custom CSS to your theme if I give you some guidance?
ive changed it to remove styling but I am not sure how you enter sandbox. I have a sandbox account and everytime I try and buy something with it I cannot log it because it seems I am going to real paypal and not sandbox. What settings should I set to use sandbox?
Have you gone to Downloads > Settings > General and checked “Test Mode”?
That setting will cause PayPal to go to Sandbox.
Pippin, I know you’ve heard a lot from me this week, my apologies ;(
I’m having the same issue. I’m using PageLines. My Checkout button is fine but the spacing of elements on the Add to Cart button looks broken.
These issues are all going to be fixed very shortly. We’re changing all of the buttons to CSS3. It might be worthwhile for you to go to Downloads > Settings > Styles and simply deactivate the included styles. If your theme is done well, everything will still look fine,
Hi Pippin, thanks for the great plugin. I was waiting for the update to go through, as I run Thesis and had the same problems with the buttons as were described by the posters above. As you said, it can be fixed by disabling styles, it just doesn’t look very professional.
I just wanted to let you know that having run the update this morning, the Checkout button is now fixed on the initial page but the Buy Now button is still broken in exactly the same way as it was before on the Checkout page (i.e. in two pieces).
The CSS3 updates haven’t been added yet.
@chrisbeardsley – if you give me a site URL, I can give you a small CSS snippet that should fix it.
Ah, no worries, I just assumed that since you had done an upgrade and since the Checkout button was fixed that you had done the CSS3 updates.
Thanks for the kind offer to provide some CSS. My site is http://www.strengthandconditioningresearch.com/ but if you need the specific download page, we’ll have to do it via email.
Lots of other updates made it in, but not that one in particular.
I don’t see any of the purchase buttons any where on your site.
That’s why I said if you need the specific download page we’ll need to do it via email 🙂
I’ll put it live for you now.
Oh right 🙂
You can email it to me if you want: pippin(at)pippinsplugins(dot). c o m
I see the page you sent me, but it obviously has the styles disabled. Can you enable the styles so I can see the original issue?
Okay I’ve fixed it (update will go out soon). For now, you can replace easy-digital-downloads/includes/css/edd.css with the contents of this file: https://github.com/pippinsplugins/Easy-Digital-Downloads/blob/master/includes/css/edd.css
