[Plugin: Dynamic Widgets] Bug with custom post types

  • I need dynamic widgets for different custom post types. However, the plugin doesn’t detect my custom post types correctly.

I currently have two custom post types. The first is News and the second is Schools. I want to show some widgets only in Schools type posts. Unfortunately, the plugin seems to get confused when showing the configuration in the admin page. It shows the following:
    http://grab.by/6UA1
Note: although it says ‘Schools’ in the first part, it shows articles from ‘News’ post type in the exclusion list. Everytime I choose Yes for schools type and save, the plugin returns to this situation again. And what is happening is that it’s actually showing the widget in both Schools posts and News posts.

Thanks for the bugreport. The screenshot is very helpfull. I’m going to look into this.

By the way, I’ve just tried the latest development version in your site (r300719), but with no hope. The same issue still happens.

Yeah, I haven’t done any work lately on that part. It would be more a surprise if it did work correctly with that version. Thanks for checking anyway! 🙂

    Hi again,

I’ve fixed the bug in development version r301153.
