    Hey websupportguy,

    Very interesting never seen this before. If you want to submit a help ticket I can take a look at your packaged data to validate. If you want to check on your own you can open up the database.sql in the package and check your post data. This is a direct copy of your data before the installer re-installs.

    After you run the install.php file a new database script is created called install-data.sql. You can check that file to see if the paragraph tags still reside. This will help to isolate where the issue might be happening.

    Turns out it was a corrupted plugin (Headspace) that caused the problem. When I removed that, the WPAUTOP function was restored and the <p> tags re-appeared.
