Plugin download count and referrer stats

Hi guys, sorry about weird post, but here’s the scenario:

I uploaded my first wp plugin today and really happy about it getting approved (its a very small plugin though)

Thing is, almost 120 people have downloaded it on very first day, and I haven’t shared it anywhere except for my own website page (whose public is not wp related that much)

I wanna know:

1. how do i know referrer for the downloads (from wordpress.org)

2. is it normal to get so many downloads on first day? and does it go down with time?
