# Plugin doesn't work with local CDN

 * Hi Jordy,
    great plugin, tanks a lot for it! I have trouble with the retina-rewrite.
   I’m running a local CDN on a subdomain. At the beginning, everything works fine
   but since some month there are just the icons and template-images from the main-
   domain rewritten to @2x…. The main-images, I’m hosting on the subdomain, are 
   not more rewritten anymore. The logfile shows that too. It is really strange,
   that this issue wasn’t there all the time. I think it startet with WordPress 
   4.x. But I’m not sure, because I’ve seen this issue only by coincidence. It would
   be great if you could have a look at this. I think, I’m not the only one with
   this problem, probably just the first one who tells you. Best regards and thanks

 * Not sure why, I am using MaxCDN on haikyo.org, and WPEngine CDN with totorotimes.
   com, works great with both.

 * I’m not using any plugins for the CDN. WordPress itself brings everything for
   using a Subdomain as CDN. But WP Retina 2x is the only plugin having trouble 
   with that. And, as is told, only recently and only with the pics, stored at [http://static.domain.com](http://static.domain.com).
   That’s really strange.
    Do you have any suggestions?

 * You should try the PictureFill method.

 * Already running. I tried all the methods. Even with rendering the images again.
   Nothing helps. The logs are always the same.

 * You should ask a developer to help/debug this for you. I myself don’t know, it
   works with two different CDNs and hosting I am using.
