    Your image is too small for Facebook. See the “?” info next to the Image Dimensions option on the General settings page.

    <!-- ngfb meta tags begin -->
    <meta name="generator" content="NGFB Open Graph+ 7.4.1G" />
    <meta property="og:locale" content="en_US" />
    <meta property="og:site_name" content="MOTIBILI" />
    <meta property="og:url" content="http://motibili.in/shop/return-lviv/" />
    <meta property="og:title" content="Return to Lviv &ndash; Motibili" />
    <meta property="og:description" content="Residents return to Lviv after the Battle in 1939." />
    <meta property="og:type" content="product" />
    <!-- og:image:1 --><meta property="og:image" content="http://motibili.in/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Return-to-Lwow-148x200.jpg" />
    <!-- og:image:1 --><meta property="og:image:height" content="200" />
    <!-- og:image:1 --><meta property="og:image:width" content="148" />
    <!-- ngfb meta tags end -->

    The Facebook crawler is also having issues accessing your site:

    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/echo?q=http%3A%2F%2Fmotibili.in%2Fshop%2Freturn-lviv%2F

    Document returned no data

    Ok I’d set the image dimensions to 200×200, and changed these to a higher value now, but it still doesn’t work.

    However, the real issue seems to be that Facebook is just unable to crawl/scrape my page for some reason – I get a ‘Bad Response Code’ (502) with the message ‘URL returned a bad HTTP response code.’

    Any thoughts on why this would be? This also means that Facebook can’t see the property tags that the plugin adds to the header, for example, debugger says ‘The og:type property is required, but not present.’ even though that property is visible in the page source.

    You should set your Image Dimensions to 1200×1200 cropped, if possible, otherwise your shared image on Facebook will appear as a small thumbnail.

    Try disabling plugins, changing themes, and then contact your hosting provider about that Facebook crawler error. You need to get that sorted first.
