# Plugin doesn’t save settings changes

 * Hello,
 * I’ve migrated a site with BackupBuddy plugin. As far as I remember I chose to
   migrate all database tables regardless of prefix, but I’m not 100% sure about
   it.
 * Now Events manager doesn’t save any changes in settings. I’m also not sure if
   it saved them before cause I didn’t try to do it. But now see that my maps don’t
   work (missing API key) I can’t fix it.
 * Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?
 * I use 5.6.6.1 version of events manager.

 * Which settings can’t you save? Are you able to save standard WordPress settings?

 * EDIT: I tried everything yesterday and nothing worked. Today all is working. 
   Have no idea what was the problem, but it’s fixed now. Thank you for responding.
 * Plugin doesn’t save any changes in settings that I tried including adding API
   key or disabling maps. When I insert API key and click “save changes” API key
   is not saved. The same with any other setting I tried. All the other wordpress
   settings work without problem, other plugins as well. I suspect it might be problem
   with database tables with Events Manager settings not being copied – is it possible?
 * I don’t see any error messages (besides Oops… on my maps, but it won’t work without
   an API key).
 * If I uninstall plugin and then install it again will I loose my events data (
   which where migrated BTW).

 * Sometimes it can take a while for the API key to start working properly. Maybe
   that was the problem.

 * I’m having problem that I couldn’t save the setting of Event Manager Plugin. 
   The page prompted <404 Not Found> error. I tried the solution to update < Permalink
   Settings> to Plain. Unfortunately it didn’t work and i saw the new error below
   upon Even Manager Setting saving:
 * Forbidden
    You don’t have permission to access /wp/wp-admin/edit.php on this 
   server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use
   an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
 * Please help!!!
