    Hi there,

I have uploaded the file IP2LOCATION-LITE-DB1.BIN to the wp-content/plugins/ip2location-redirection directory, but the settings page is no longer recognizing it. Beside “File Name”, it shows IP2LOCATION-LITE-DB1.BIN with the tooltip error “Database file not found”, and the top of the settings page shows “ERROR: Unable to find the IP2Location BIN database!”.

The manual update process has worked in the past, and no new plugins or themes have been installed so I’m not sure why the plugin has stopped updating the database properly.

I also tried the CSV option, that was not regonized either.

    Hi,

If you are using the latest version of the plugin, please download the BIN database from the setting page using download token. The latest version no longer reading the BIN file from the plugin directory.

    Hello,

I have the same issue but the download token is not working and I get “no permission”

I have tried refreshing the token but I still get the same error.

    Is there any workaround?

I tried using the download key to download the Lite DB1 file. The process didn’t error out, and finished quickly, but nothing changed. I tried saving the page and it still said no database exists.

    Same problem here
