I have thousands of old posts that each has no set featured image but has images within them. The plugin does not work with content images from external servers. Right now I deactivated it and wait for an update. I will patiently give it another try because it would answer one of my central questions: Why is my bounce rate above 80%? * Having “related posts” without thumbnails ist not very attractive. But thumbnails are mostly generated from the “featured image”. Hundreds of images not identified despite pictures appearing in the html. The first image in your content is the portrait of Thilo, right? * So the image element has the class attribute with the image’s ID as stored in the database. And the ID is valid as this link shows it: [http://www.henning-uhle.eu/?attachment_id=1226](http://www.henning-uhle.eu/?attachment_id=1226) * So the algorithm can find the image by its ID. In your case: it should do it. * I also have tested the rest of the algorithm for the case no ID is there. I compared its result with the image URL of the link around this image. * Fortunately the result yields the same string as the href value. So the algorithm can find the image by its URL. In your case: it should do it. * Unfortunately it does not yield any hint about a reason why the image could not be found by the plugin. I have to do other work now.
