# Plugin doesen't work – settings resets when updateing user

 * Hi, it’s a great plugin and I didn’t find any other like that. Thank you to the
   author. Unfortunately it stopped to work for me 🙁 And it’s hard to tell me what
   can be the reason. It was working for a long time with wordpress 4.5.3. I suppose
   after some updates it stopped unfortunately. I updated wordpress and my theme
   and all plugins recently. It took me month to notice it doesen’t work anymore.
   All changes I did before are still visable. The problem is I can not veryfy anyone
   anymore 🙁 When I do the changes in user page, and save it says changes saved
   but the plugin settings doesn’t save. I have no idea what couse the problem. 
   I try to downgrade wordpress, then my theme (sweetdate) and turn off all the 
   plugins… unfortunately no positive result. I even backup mysql database and the
   problem is still present. I also try to change permission of the plugin folder.
   Nothin helps. I can’t verify anymore. Could you please help? I can send credentials
   and all the info so you could investigate the issue. Please help, it’s very important
   plugin on my website and I’m desperated… Would love to hear any hint where’s 
   the problem.

 * Try the 2.3 version and let me know if it fixed your issue.

 * Unfortunately it didn’t help. I downgrade wordpress to 4.5, BuddyPress to 2.5.3
   and BuddyVerified to 2.3 and still it’s the same problem. I see all plugin options
   but after saving any profile, plugin settings are blank again.

 * Version 2.2 works, thanks! So should I stay with 2.2? What is the reason new 
   newest version doesn’t work to me?
