Plugin does not works if I change country in checkout

I have a product that can be sold only in Italy, ok? So, if my shipping country is Italy I can add this product to cart and go straight to checkout page.

Then, in checkout page, I set another country, for example France, in my shipping address. Now my order should be blocked because France is not allowed, but the order is NOT blocked 🙁

Is there something wrong with my website, or the plugin doesn’t work in that way?

Check on settings, make sure the option “Detect Geo-location Country” is not checked.

Hi, thank you very much, now it’s working.

Is there a way to customize the error message? Right now in checkout page I got the message “PRODUCTNAME has been removed from your cart because it can no longer be purchased. Please contact us if you need assistance.”

I would like to add WHY the product has been removed, so I’d like to edit the message… do you think it’s possible?

I’ve found how to edit the message in your docs:

But I’d like to know how to customize the cart/checkout restriction message and keep the product name in message.

We updated the snippet code in the docs. so, please try to put the same code in function.php to change the restricted product message in the cart.

Hi, yes, we are compatible with WPML. you just need to make sure you do setup when you are on “all languages”
