You don’t seem to be using Jetpack’s Sharing buttons at the moment. It looks like you’ve switched to a different sharing plugin.

That’s indeed the expected behaviour. Publicize uses full permalinks, and not shortlinks.

I just installed Jetpack and enabled all the sharing links. I installed the Shortlinks plugin and activated it. I don’t see how to use it. Is there supposed to be an icon on each page? How do I use it? My site is http://www.polarvortex-oldmanwinter.com. I want to direct to pages, not posts.

I want to direct from another site back to my site /page via a more easy and compact link, but do not see any tutorials on your plugin–or screenshots about how to find it and it is NOT obvious. Is it anywhere on the Dashboard? Is it on the edit view of the page? Is it in Permalinks? I am clueless!

Please help me get started with my first short link from http://www.polarvortex-oldmanwinter.com/?page_id=169 (the page is titled “Great Lakes Masters Regionals 2016”

Thanks so much for any help you can give, Trasheeta

@trasheeta My plugin only replaces the links used by the sharing buttons. You can see the shortlinks by clicking on the sharing buttons:
