Plugin does not work correctly after installing Shapely Companion

    Hi @janyx

    Which part of the UM plugin doesn’t work when the Shapely Campanion is active?

    The links in the menu certainly don’t work. Look at the pictures.
    On the first there are UM options and on the second there are no UM options.

    Could you please ask the Shapely Camapnion developer if they have Mega Menu added to their plugin?

    The author of the companion plugin wrote to me.

    Sorry but no, our theme does not have mega menu options at all
    In this case, you may deactivate our plugin while creating a menu and once you finish it activate our plugin again

    I still have a question for that.

    I deactivate the companion plugin and set it
    Ultimate Member Menu Settings
    Who can see this menu link +
    Select the member roles that can see this link.
    Then I active the companion plugin again.
    Will I stay in Ultimate Member the parameters for the menu I set?
    It is clear that after activating the companion plugin I will no longer see options for Ultimate Member.
    If I edit the Ultimate members menu again in the future, I have to deactivate the companion plugin again.

    Hi @janyx

    Could you please ask the companion plugin developer if they’ve created a custom menu with Nav Walker class? Do they have this line in their code( see the screenshot )?

    They should have those highlighted lines to make the UM Menus appear and other plugins that use the action hook for menu settings.
