Plugin does not require email before download

    I tried to use this plugin along with contact form 7, but even though I followed all the instructions, we come up with a download link that doesn’t require an email.

    Hi,

    Download After Email is a standalone plugin. To place a download form on a post or page you do not need to use another (contact form) plugin.

    I tried it again, but was unsuccessful. Could you please give more detailed instructions? Also, it says this plugin has not been tested with my version of WordPress 5.5.1. Could that be an issue?
    When I put the download code in html, it shows up, but also the code wpforms id=”448″. When I tested the download button, I can enter the email, but that doesn’t show up anywhere, nor does the download appear in the email I used.
