Hi @kruku, thanks for your feedback. If you are looking for assistance and support, I would very much appreciate if you would not start our conversation with giving a one star and then awaiting for our assistance 🙂 With all the effort, energy and love we put into our product development and support, I would not expect that our product deserves such attitude 😉

As you can see, all of our issues in the support forum are always taken care of and nothing is left untended therefore I would ask you to rather take this up in the Support forum where anybody else with similar issue in the future might find help and learn from our discussion.

Now about the emails. There is a huge difference between sending emails from your store to yourself (notifications) and delivering abandoned cart recovery emails to customers. Abandoned cart emails are sent out via your default WordPress mail function and from your server.
Whether the email is delivered or ends up in spam filters is very much depending on the settings you have setup in your WordPress recovery email, what is the subject line, what is the “From” email you are using, what is the spam rating of your server IP etc.
Just to test the abandoned cart email, you can always send a test email from CartBounty > Recovery > WordPress > Preview section. There is a “Send” button that will allow you to see if the abandoned cart email function works or not. If you are getting the email, it means that the sending function is working just fine.
At this point, to improve email delivery, you can try setting up a SMTP plugin from WordPress plugin repository.
But even with all this, there is a lot to making sure your emails are delivered and do not end up in spam or blocked. Therefore we have our Pro version where you can connect with Professional email marketing systems like MailChimp, ActiveCampaign or GetResponse which professional email servers with whitelisted IP addresses and much more.

Also, you might want to look into this FAQ about sending emails: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-save-abandoned-carts/#how%20to%20send%20automated%20abandoned%20cart%20recovery%20emails%3F

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

The principle is simple. First I check the free plugin version. If it is sufficient and it works okay, super. Your plugin sends test emails (they do not enter the spam folder) but emails of the abandoned carts do not come on time. I have 5 minutes set for checking, Mail came after 1.5 hours. This does not work correctly. I specially checked on several different emails, on different servers. Does the free plugin have a limitation?

Always if something wastes my time I give one star and do not check the Pro version.

“Best If you have a small this medium number of abandoned carts”? What does it mean? How much, specifically? 5-50-100 per day?

    Regards

Ok, I guess I see where the issue is.

Once the cart is saved, it is considered as abandoned after a period of 60 minutes. Email notifications and abandoned cart recovery email will be sent out only after the cart is abandoned (status “New”). If you see status “Shopping” – it means the 60 minutes of last interaction with the cart have not yet passed. Could this be the case since you mentioned that emails actually did arrive in the end and did not end up in the spam?

So if you have setup the cart to be sent out 5 minutes after it has been abandoned, it means that the user should receive an abandoned cart email in about 65 – 70 minutes (depending from when the WP Cron action is triggered).

And on your question about the limits, It very much depends on the type of hosting and server you are running your store on, but you should be fine if you are not sending out more than 20 – 30 emails per hour.

And the Free version does not limit emails, it is simply that spam filters might pick up and blacklist your server if you will start sending out huge amounts of emails from your IP, it might be considered as potential spam, but again, it will depend on the type of hosting you are 🙂

Why there are no information about this solution anywhere (60 min). I lost half a day by setting various configurations and testing this plugin because I thought it did not work.
