I am sorry but I did not know about this older format and my plugin will not convert this older form of singlepic. Is this older form of singlepic documented? Can you provide me with a URL? Alternatively, can you tell me what all the parameters mean? I intend to make a new release sometime this month and I think I can include a fix for this problem in this release but I need to understand exactly this new format. Also, does this form apply to the shortcodes nggallery and nggtags?

Thanks very much for all your feedback – it is greatly appreciated as it really helps me to improve my plugin.

I’m supporting NextGen since 2007. At this time it was the best gallery I found!
Now with the increasing of the WP gallery and the move of NextGen to Photocrati Media (NextGen 2) I was not longer satisfied with NextGen. This was the reason to move (downdrade: Downgrade von NextGEN auf NextCellent
All this experience is descript on my side http://www.msr-support.de . The side is in German language. May be you can translate it with Google to English.
On this side you will find also the description of the old code:
    Plugin NextGen Gallery -Tagübersicht
I hope this will be helpful for you

    Thanks for the info.

Although I cannot support the options of the old [singlepic] shortcode I will be able to translate it to a standard WordPress [gallery] shortcode where you can use [gallery] shortcode options and/or css styles to hopefully get something equivalent. This will be in the next release which will be near the end of this month. This release will also have an enable checkbox for the “Alt High Density View” which you suggested. Further, I will allow you to specify your own css file to load. Modifying the plugin’s css file is probably not a good idea as it will be overwritten everytime you upgrade the plugin. This will load after the plugin’s css file so that it can override the plugin’s css file.

Thanks again for all your help.
