# Plugin does not create valid HTML

* I already asked this 3 months ago, but never received an answer. Could you please
make your Plugin HTML 5 compliant. There is only one line to correct. HTML validation
outputs an error because the rel-attribute of is wrong. This is caused
by the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/REST/V1/Main.php, line 332, where you set an
URL as rel-attribute which is not a registered keyword.
* Could you either correct this to a valid keyword or tell me how to upgrade safe
overwrite this function.

* Thank you for following up on this.
* First off, our apologies for not acknowledging your initial report.
I am not
sure how we missed that, but we will certainly investigate to see how we can
prevent that from happening again.
* In any case, this also partially explains why we didn’t issue a fix for it yet.
With that in mind, I just created a formal ticket so that it can be addressed
in our next dev cycle (not the next release, unfortunately, but the one after
that).
