# Plugin does not activate

 * I have installed the plugin but no amount of clicking on the ACTIVATE button 
   seems to actually activate the plugin. Any workarounds?

 * Hi, what WordPress version is your site running? Can you disable all other plugins,
   then try again to activate Stripe Payments?

 * Hi – thanks for getting back to me 🙂
    Still on a somewhat dated version – 4.15.16
   I have 4 activated plugins which I deactivated – the stripe plugin still remains
   deactivated even when I click on activate

 * Hi, I have never heard of WordPress 4.15.16. There is a WordPress version 4.5.16.
 * If you update to at least version 4.9.9, I am sure your issue will be fixed. 
   But before you update WordPress, make sure all your plugins and your theme are
   compatible.

 * Sorry that was a typo 4.5.16. I have updated and could activate the plugin without
   any problem. Thanks for your help – much appreciated! 🙏🏻
