    I’ve a website with your gustebook running for about a year now and all of a sudden new guestbook entries are not showing up in the overview. I deactivated all antispam-countermeasures and I get a confirmation (“thanks for adding your entry”, but then in Dutch) that my entry was succesful. But no result on the guestbookpage. Last entry was about 5 weeks ago, since then I didn’t change anything to the website (themes/plugins).

    Do you have any clue where to look at to solve this issue?

    Hi Michael

    I suggest you following steps:
    1.) Check whether the guestbook entry was saved. Check that on “DMSGuestbook -> Entries” (WordPress admin area)

    2.) Check whether “Admin must every post review” is deactivated on “DMSGuestbook -> Guestbook settings -> Miscellaneous” (WordPress admin area)

    3.) Create me an wordpress admin account and send me the credentials to DMSGuestbook AT DanielSchurter (dot) Net. After that I will take a look on it as soon as possible.

    thanks for your swift reply. Last night I switched off the akismet and captcha and today the guestbook was flooded with spam.
    Whilst removing these spam-messages I came across the message which was missing and which was rejected as well. I tested the whole time with the exact message those people sent me (which was obviously not spam and didn’t look like it as well), and it never occurred to me that that could be the cuase of the problems.

    So problem solved, found the problem. I’m sorry for the unnecessary trouble.
