I find it an improvement, not sure it will fit your demands though.
It is a heck lotta easier to style though.

“default.tpl” on “../plugins/dmsguestbook/template/form/” allows you the full control of your guestbook form. (PHP skills required)
If you want to change the language text, go to “DMSGuestbook -> Language settings”. If you don’t have any write permission open the language file on “../plugins/dmsguestbook/language/”

Go it working but I need to be able to change position of the field names and one the field name them selves.
I know that DMSGuestbook is supposedly configurable but there is hardly any information out there on how to do it.
I need total control over the field names because for one while
Name*
Email*
Website
Text*
are on the same positioning “track” (you move one of those words you move the whole set) how can I get Text* to move independently of the others.
I really want Text* to be on top of the comment box not the side. Looks ugly on the side.
Also I want to change the name Text* to Comments*
The word *Required, I can’t find where to move that and unfortunately part of the word hovers over inside the bottom left hand side of the comment box / field
Next; The physical posted comment box is off center…how do I get it centered?

Lastly; I want to move the field boxes independently…for now at least just add extra space between the web site field and the text / comment field for the change I want regarding the Text* position.
