    Hi sventje

Maybe there is a problem with another plugin or theme. I suggest you to deactivate all plugins temporarily and change the theme to default one to see what happened.

    Greetings,
    Dani

    hey, thanks,

Found out that the Twenty Eleven theme seemed to be the problem. Changed the theme to Twenty Ten and there was no sidebar Guestbook.

But still I need to get the guestbook out of the sidebar, even in the twenty eleven.

Please create me a WordPress admin account and send me the credentials to dmsguestbook (ät) DanielSchurter (dot) net. After that I will check it out what happened as soon as possible.

    Greetings,
    Dani

Thank you very much for the help.
The appearance in the side bar almost magically dissapeared.

    How did you do it?
Did I do something wrong? Was it in the code?

Again, thank you for your help

    Hi Sven

The installed widget “Multilanguage Text” broke the HTML content. I’ve disabled it temporarily.

    Hi Dani,

Thanks, I noticed. Thank you very much.
I’ve installed another multilanguage text widget and it seems to work.
