Plugin disrupts search function

Hello,

First of all, I want to say that I love your plugin! It is awesome and so easy to use.

The only problem that I am having is that for some reason it disrupts my search function in the nav bar. When I test by putting a category or common theme in the search, either it sends me back to the home page or gives me a page 404 error.

I have contacted my theme developer (the X-Theme), however they have said as it is due to a third party plugin that I will need to contact you directly.

Is there anything that I can do to fix this?
