Nifty little plugin, glad to have found it. Was also happy to find your code snippet showing the author. Can you tell me exactly where to add this code? Tried pasting it into the end of display-posts-shortcode.php but this doesn't work.

    Am a PHP newbie...

You don't need to place it anywhere - it's already inside the plugin. The link I provided in the previous support thread was simply showing its addition to the plugin.

Once you have Display Posts Shortcode active, just use [display-posts author="bill"]

Hi Bill! Excellent plugin. I'm perplexed, however, by the author argument: I can't seem to pull in any posts using it. Of the user names in the user profile for each contributor, which is the author? I thought it might be the "Display Name as" but when I use author="Firstname Lastname" it brings up no posts. Thanks for any pointers!

You should use the author's username

Does this functionality allow the plugin to display the author of each post under the title, or is simply a filter that allows me to display posts from a specific author?

Also, can this functionality all for a display of a set of multiple authors (eg. author="bill, mary")?
