# Plugin disappeared & will not reinstall

 * I checked my site today and realized my shop is not working. Turns out the Woocommerce
   plugin is no longer installed for some reason and when I go to reinstall it I
   get an error message that states “Installation failed: Destination folder already
   exists.”
 * How do I remedy this problem and get my store back up and runnning?

 * Seems there’s some issue with your installation.
 * To address this, we recommend installing WooCommerce manually by removing the
   old WooCommerce plugin files and replacing them with the newly downloaded version.
   See the guide below for more info:
    - Download the WooCommerce plugin and extract the file.
    - Log in to your FTP server using FileZilla or any other FTP client. Navigate
      to the wp-content/plugins directory of your WordPress install.
    - Delete the WooCommerce folder
    - Place the extracted folder in the wp-content/plugins folder.
    - After that, head over to the plugin page of your WordPress site and activate
      the WooCommerce plugin.
