 * Hello,
 * `(this message was ignored when sent with the submit a bug form on WP.org so
   I'm continuing here)`
 * Here’s the URL our of plugin which recently disappeared from: [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/fv-all-in-one-seo-pack/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/fv-all-in-one-seo-pack/)
 * I can’t see it on [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins)
   nor in my profile with the other plugins I created. However I can open that page
   [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/fv-all-in-one-seo-pac](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/fv-all-in-one-seo-pac)
   when I log in with my account.
    - Can you please check on that to see what’s wrong?
    - Has it something to do with the famous all-in-one-seo-pack plugin? The names
      are very common, but I can see some other plugin using the same name. Was
      it removed on purpose?
 * We created the plugin because we missed some extra functionality, which the creators
   of the original plugin refused to add.
 * Thanks,
    M.

 * Hello aldenml,
 * I’m not sure if you have the same problem as I do, the problem is, that some
   of our plugin links in style of
 * [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/fv-wordpress-flowplayer/)
 * stopped working and disappeared from our profile and search results.

 * Yes, I have the same problem. My plugin Light SEO (another AIOSP fork)
    [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/light-seo/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/light-seo/)
 * disappeared from my profile and search results.
 * I have no notification, no warning, nothing. I hope there is no obscure reason
   behind this.

 * Well, our plugin is also AIOSP fork and it’s called FV Simpler SEO Pack. It’s
   amazing to hear that you have problems with forking the same plugin.
 * I wonder who’s Michael’s Torbert’s friend inside wordpress.org… I hope this is
   not more Semper Fi Web Design corruption.

 * FWIW, the forums mods here have little (if any) control over the rest of the
   site.
 * I’d do this:
 * 1) Go to [http://core.trac.wordpress.org/](http://core.trac.wordpress.org/)

   2) Login with your ID and password from here. (I think the ID has to be lowercase,
   could be smoking crack…) 3) Make a new ticket with the Milestone ‘WordPress.org
   site’

 * Thanks Ipstenu, I just made the ticket. Hopefully someone can explain us what’s
   happening.

 * Actually, it’s different people monitoring trac vs. maintaining the plugin repo,
   so the best thing to do is email [plugins@wordpress.org](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-disappeared-from-wordpress-plugins/plugins@wordpress.org?output_format=md)
   to get assistance.

 * Thanks janeforshort, I will do it now, together with another email to the WP
   Hackers mailing list (thanks to Ryan Hellyer [http://www.wptavern.com/forum/plugins-hacks/1210-my-plugin-removed-wordpress-org-extend-directory.html#post11108](http://www.wptavern.com/forum/plugins-hacks/1210-my-plugin-removed-wordpress-org-extend-directory.html#post11108)).
 * I hope one of these ways can provide me with some result.

 * Thanks Jane and Ipstenu.
 * Hopefully Alden and we will be able to get this resolved. Your suggestions are
   much appreciated. If anyone else has an idea why improved SEO plugins (in competition
   with Michael Torbert and Semper Fi) are simply not accepted and whom we should
   contact about this, please let me know.
 * Thanks, Alec

 * Thanks to Alden, [WPTavern](http://www.wptavern.com/forum/plugins-hacks/1210-my-plugin-removed-wordpress-org-extend-directory.html)
   and with a big thank you to Mark Jaquith we were finally able to get this issue
   resolved today.
 * [FV All in One SEO Pack](http://foliovision.com/seo-tools/wordpress/plugins/fv-all-in-one-seo-pack)
   is available at both the [WordPress plugin repository](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/fv-all-in-one-seo-pack/)
   and at Foliovision.

 * Who did you contact to get this resolved? My Plugin disapeared last night, and
   I have been trying to figure out why, but with no avail.
 * My plugin is not SEO based, it’s to customize the login page. It should be @
   [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/my-brand/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/my-brand/)
   but it’s not showing up unless I’m logged into my WP.org account.

 * Yes, I have the same problem. My plugin doesn’t appear in the list and it’s also
   not SEO based, it’s to integrate a feedburner widget in the sidebar: [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/feedburner-subscription-widget/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/feedburner-subscription-widget/)
   I’ll contact with Mark Jaquith if I have the opportunity.

 * Mark Jaquith sorted out Alden and I. Mark is trying to move away from being arbitrar
   of the plugins. There was an internal meeting where [plugins@wordpress.org](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-disappeared-from-wordpress-plugins/plugins@wordpress.org?output_format=md)
   was selected as the official address for plugin issues.
 * I’d try an email there and if not, you’ll have to contact Mark directly. Hopefully
   Mark will find time to drop by and give some suggestions on alternate arrangements.
 * Good luck with your plugins guys!

 * **KnxDT** — Your plugin is injecting three SEO links into the widget’s public
   view by default. The first one, a credit link, using reasonable link text, would
   be fine if you made it not display by default. Our policy is that you make the
   user take an affirmative action (like checking a box/radio button) in order to
   enable a credits link.
 * You have two other links, also embedded by default, that link to blog articles
   on your site. They appear to have no relevance to the plugin.
 * In order to get your plugin approved, at a minimum, you will have to remove these
   two irrelevant SEO links and make the credits link default to not being displayed.
 * **krisjay** — Your plugin has some security issues. You’re echoing out options
   without sanitization. You need to look into the `esc_attr()` and `esc_html()`
   functions. You may need to do manual regex filtering for the things that are
   CSS colors (# sign, then 3-6 digits of a-f0-9). As far as other issues go, I
   wasn’t able to find anything. You’re using appropriate licenses and aren’t outputting
   SEO links or front-end credit links without permission. Please contact [plugins@wordpress.org](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-disappeared-from-wordpress-plugins/plugins@wordpress.org?output_format=md)
   and ask for clarification.
