# Plugin directory recognition issues…

 * Logged into company’s WP admin last evening, and for some reason the plugins
folder is not connecting with the website. You can see on the homepage of the
site ([http://www.netrepid.com/](http://www.netrepid.com/)) that there are formatting
issues with the theme (with layout supported by Visual Composer) and also our
forms (Gravity Forms) and SEO updates (SEO Ultimate) are not showing – simply
   the formatting id’s.
 * Can someone here in the community give me any ideas as to what may cause an entire
plugins folder to fail to connect to a site – when its folder location has not
moved? How do I go about getting a folder that is live on the server to reconnect
   to the site?
 * Oh, and if you know how to correct this, that’d be great, too!
 * Note: no one has made any adjustments to the plugins directory of our site in
weeks (months probably) and have no idea why a directory like that would suddenly
   stop operating with the site.
 * Thank you in advance for your help.
