[Plugin: Dippsy] Products Folder Problem

    This seems like a pretty cool plugin but it is rather complicated to get setup as operational. In the settings area, completing installation there are 2 buttons to check if the folders are writable. The images folder checks out ok but the products folder does not.

    I set all the permissions to 755 so I am lost on how to fix this. I was hoping this thing would work out because it seems like exactly what I have been needing but I may have to just deactivate it and move on to something else.

    Well I got the products folder problem figured out and now it checks out ok from the admin section but the products that I upload are not showing up on any of the pages.
    There is an Amazon store that shows up but the products I upload are not showing up anywhere. No buy now button either. When I click on view in the edit pages section for one of the products supposed page it goes to a 404 not found page.
    I have wordpress 3.3.1 and dippsy 1.2

    I don’t know what the problem is nor what to do to fix it. I have spent way too much time already trying to get this thing set up and running. It really doesn’t seem like a difficult setup but nothing has worked right with it since I started messing with it and I have just about had my fill of the entire thing.

    It is close to getting deactivated, trashed and severely advised against being used.
