After almost two weeks of work, and almost $500 of support and add-ons, the display was abysmal. There are much easier, cheaper, and less time consuming Directory plugins out there, and they install just fine.
I am posting this because subsequent conversations with the developer were unfruitful. Even though the product proved un-workable, even though the add-ons did not work as described, if at all, and even though I gave the developer carte blanche authority to make it work whatever, change the theme, deactivate any plugins etc., I was left with an un-editable home page, and a confused looking listing page. But he says it was 100%.
I hadn’t even got anywhere close to adding a listing and I knew it wasn’t going to work without a ton more developer hours.
I will say one thing. The developer tried. I know he worked hard on this. His problem is a defective plugin and they need to go back to the drawing board.
