Plugin development – Retrieve data just sent in options page

  • Hi,

    I’m developing a little plugin.

I’ve just set a plugin options page and I use the Settings API to save my plugin options [settings_fields(), register_setting(), do_settings_sections(), add_settings_section() and add_settings_field()] and all works fine.

Now I need to call something (a function? an action?), after these options was saving, because I need to add/change/save new capabilities depending on these options.

I try to incercept $_POST variable but it was always empty.

How could I intercept if the plugin options was saved?
Could I doing something else during the options saving action?
If I need to save other things in the database (but not in the wp_options table) how I could do?

    Thanks
