Plugin deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist ???
-
I’m developing a shopping site, but ran into a few problems. I then reverted to a “known good” backup, deleting & recreated the database, and reinstalled the old set of files.
Voila, all seemed sweet, but when I go to the plugins folder I get this:
The plugin cart66/cart66.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist. The plugin easy-post-types/custom-type.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist. The plugin gravityforms/gravityforms.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist. The plugin q-and-a/q-and-a.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.
The DB field “wp_options -> active_plugins” shows the following, until I view the plugins section of the WP admin screen:
a:4:{i:0;s:17:"cart66/cart66.php";i:1;s:31:"easy-post-types/custom-type.php";i:2;s:29:"gravityforms/gravityforms.php";i:3;s:19:"q-and-a/q-and-a.php";}
However, once I’ve viewed the plugins screen and seen the errors (above), the DB resets the active_plugin count to this:
a:0:{}
All the tables relating to the plugins are still in the DB, and all files seemed to be correct in the “wp-content -> plugins” folder.
Any ideas how sort this out?
