• Hi.. I installed your plugin and it was working beautifully. Then ten minutes later, I tried to change some settings, and it stopped working.

The swirling circle appears, but nothing happens after. And Chrome gives a little pop-up message, “this webpage has disabled automatic filling for this form.”

I tried adding autocomplete=on to my search form tag, but this did not help.

Any ideas? I really love this plugin, and it would be great to get it working again.

    Thanks.

  • I ran into this same problem just today. I am currently working on a website for a client http://www.omnicable.tv/ . I used this plugin for them as they wanted a live search on their site. However, when they asked me to change one of the settings, I turned off “Display Metadata.” After that the plugin stopped working. I thought I would just delete the plugin and reinstall it, but after doing that the search bar seems pretty unresponsive.

    Thanks for the feedback

    Kunochan,

I encountered a similar problem (as stated in my previous post) and I got the search bar working again after I changed the maximum display results to “5” instead of “10.” I also changed the Minimum characters before searching to “Search Right away.” I checked it out in my browser and it seems to be working fine. I’m not sure if this will solve your problem but I hope it helps.

I have the same problem, my live search stopped working after I changed the settings to display 5 instead of 10 posts. I uninstalled the plugin and also deleted it. i also tried the solution from NIckd22 above, but still not working. Any ideas? Help please.
