Plugin works on all my pages except Blog page.

My Front page (Home) is static.
Blog posts go to Blog page (not front page.)

When Blog page IS set to custom sidebars,
no sidebars show up at all on that page.
When NOT set, the default sidebars show up
    (the ones on Home page.)

*Other than this issue, I’m finding this
    plugin VERY handy. : )

  • Hi gpcam,

Yes you are right, the blog page is the main page of wordpress and the plugin doesn’t allow to configure it (yet) since there is not a admin area for that page.

I use a little trick, the sidebar in the blog page is the default one, so i configure it for the blog, and i create custom sidebars for all other pages. That way you’ll have the control

    Cheers

    Thank you marquex.

So it’s just a matter of seeing the Blog as Main page, and the Front page as just a page.. in my head..lol.

I think I can make it work now.

    Thanks for your reply!

So marquex, can you tell me please that trick step by step please? How you configure it from the blog? My main sidebar is displayed to all my pages and blog too but not into the blog pages. I try Custom sidebars for this reason actually i don’t need new one. Please need some help, thank you very much for any help!
