[Plugin: Custom sidebars] Horizontal lines

I installed this plugin and setup a pages link sidebar for some sub-pages I want to link to. The sidebar appears on the relevant pages but I have since gained horizontal lines stretching right across the page from left to right. I also want to change the colour of the title text. Can anyone help please?
