I'm curious to know if I can deactivate it, now that I'm done creating the page.

Answer: yes. I de-activated it without any problems.

Hum - turns out that you need to leave that in, or copy the code and insert it manually.

If you disable the plugin the custom post types will no longer be registered in WordPress. All of your CPT content will still be in the database, but WP won't know what it is.

You can always use the Get Code feature, which generates the PHP code to register your CPT in a plugin or functions.php. The next version has an easier way to get this code ;)

This would seem to be not entirely true, the ability to deactivate and still access if using 'Get the code'.

Brad > you're right. I realized that only later (too late). Thanks!
