[Resolved] [Plugin: Custom Post Type UI] Types created in plug-in vanish if manually regist

  • I have a custom type created with the plug-in sometime ago, but wish to switch to using code in functions.php so that I can have a bit more control e.g; set the menu icon. Unfortunately, the menu entry for the custom type is only available if the plugin is enabled 🙁

Weirder still, the additional changes I’ve made in functions.php (menu icon, etc.) are applied to the menu entry when the plug-in is enabled, and the custom type is accessible…

(I have another custom type, created without the plugin by modifying a copy of the “Get Code” and it works fine.)

If you copied the code over correctly without changing the custom post type slug at all, it should still show up in the menu.
