# [Plugin: Custom Post Type UI] Pre-plugin post types should be handled

 * I’ve already created custom post types and taxonomies without the plugin. I was
   hoping that the plugin would recognize existing types. It’s not a deal breaker;
   I’m still excited to use the plugin. But I think its a worthy feature request.

 * I like that idea Developdaly as I’ve wondered if I had a post type in my functions.
   php (or not). At the very least, even a list of other registered post_types would
   be nice to see.

 * Well nevermind, I just saw that it does recognize them. I also realized that 
   you’d have to overwrite someone else’s code in order to edit it, so just ignore
   my post 😉
