    Hello. I tried the Custom-Post-Type plugin to register new taxonomies. Only problem, I have to re-initialize the permalinks in the settings tab to “default” then back to “post name” so the slugs don’t break. So, after deactivating and deleting the plugin, the issue still remains and I lose all site links when a page is updated. I’ve searched the SQL for “Custom-Post-Type, and noticed a few tables with the plugin being called in, so I removed those from the tables. But im still getting slug link error when updating pages. Is there anyways to fix this or remove the plugin completely?

    I’ve also tested removing my taxonomy registry from the functions file, and it does stop the error, but then i lose my categories for posts that other plugin rely on for displaying content.

    here’s the code used for the taxonomy.. i’m still a WP noob, so any pointers are much appreciated.

    register_taxonomy(‘campaigns’,array (
    0 => ‘page’,
    ),array( ‘hierarchical’ => true, ‘label’ => ‘campaigns’,’show_ui’ => true,’query_var’ => true,’rewrite’ => array(‘slug’ => ‘campaigns’),’singular_label’ => ‘campaigns’) );

    I’ll note down to make sure the plugin properly flushes rewrite rules on deactivation and hopefully that prevents issues like yours in the future.
