What does your URL structure for your site look like? Is it domain.com/wp-admin or something different?
When I am in the page to add a new post type the url is:
http://www.[my domain].com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=custom-post-type-ui/custom-post-type-ui.php_cpt_add_new
Is this what it should be?

I also just tried deactivating my not only all plugins but the Custom Post Type UI, and switching my Headway Theme back to the default WordPress theme… And it still seems to be logging me out and sending me to the WP Login screen right after I click on “Create Custom Post Type.”
Have you ever heard of this happening with your plugin?

Sorry that first sentence ended up making no sense at all in the English language. Let me try that again:

And of course.. it isn’t creating the new post type for me – when I log back in it’s not there.

I have this same issue.
I have a slightly custom setup with my domain – I had to define my URLs due to some issue with HTACCESS.
This is in my wp-config:
define(‘WP_HOME’,’http://www.domain.co.za/site’);
define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’http://www.domain.co.za’);
I’m also using a different URL for the actual site than for WP.
It seems the URL that the plugin is posting to does not include the WWW part of the domain, which might be part of the issue?
The plugin runs fine on one of my other sites though.
I updated the plugin with what I hope is a fix to this issue. If someone could download the beta linked below and let me know if the issue is resolved that would be awesome!
