Support » Plugin: Custom Permalinks » [Plugin: Custom Permalinks] Require default setting in Permalinks with plugin activated

  • Hi — Big fan of this plugin, but on two sites now, I have had to disable the plugin in order to set the main WP Permalink setting to anything but Default.

I use Custom Permalinks for all my static pages to use a specific URL. However, I want my blog posts to create an url such as /news/title. I can get that working through the WP Permalinks settings, but it takes down the rest of my site — anything but Default setting resultz in a redirect loop for any pages past the home page. When I deactivate Custom Permalinks, I can set the WP Permalinks to anything, and it works. Reactivate the plugin, back to the loop.

Any hints? Upgrade to the plugin coming? I can leave it deactivated for now, but that is a bandaid I don’t want to use forever.

    Thanks
