# [Plugin: Custom Permalinks] No luck

 * Downloaded this hoping it would do this, but not sure if I’m barking up the wrong
   tree.
 * I simple want to change my permalinks so my pages at:
    [http://www.evolutionglass.com](http://www.evolutionglass.com)
 * show up as evolutionglass.com/name-of-the-page (e.g. service, contact, links,
   etc.) rather than the random page numbers. Can anyone tell me the best way to
   do that with this?

 * I would go to Settings –> Permalinks and change it to a custom link of /%postname%/.
   As long as your htaccess is set up correctly, this should work just fine.
