[Plugin: Custom Page Menus] Possibility for adding URL

  • I need something like this too. I have anchor links on my pages mixed with links to OTHER related pages throughout the site. So I need the ability to not only add menu items to other articles, but also the ability to add anchor links for that page so people can click and jump quickly and directly down to the paragraphs in the content. I need this SO badly I am willing to fork out some cash if necessary to make it happen.

    Not sure if this is still an issue for either of you, but I’d suggest you may want to try either of the following two plugins:

    * http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/page-links-to/
    * http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/quick-pagepost-redirect-plugin/

    Both will let you link a ‘page’ to somewhere else (for example google.com).
    The second one also let’s you create redirects without creating new pages which might be helpful for the # internal page links.

    I believe you’d then be able to include these virtual pages in the custom page menus. I haven’t tested it though.

    Hope this helps!

    Smile,
    Juliette
