[Plugin: Custom Field Template] override the displayed name

  • If my custom field has to be called something ugly for database reasons, like [cft-custom-expiration-date], is it possible to give it a nicer looking name when the user is making a post.

So I’m looking to make the visible name different from the name the custom field uses in the database or in the templates.

    thanks

  • You can hide the ugly key by using the ‘hideKey = true’ option, then use the ‘label = Your Nice Label’ option to give it a nice looking label.
