• This is “Almost” a PERFECT Plugin for my needs. However there seems to be one BIG Problem I haven’t been able to resolve yet. I occasionally have some games on sale so whenever I get a new game on sale I want to be able to utilize a template that will retain the page’s content in the same layout as the previous sale. It can be done using posts with a post template plugin but this uses pages by default and that plugin doesn’t work for pages, unless I just haven’t figured out how to do it.

I simply want to be able to select a Prior Saved Template from the Add New page, then simply enter the new game’s sale information into my fields and poof’ magically have the new game with all it’s details filled in the spots and push publish.

Anybody with experience who understands what I’m talking about please help. It may already be possible without having to edit cctm plugin but I have spent several days trying to do it.

Sorry for the delayed response, I was not receiving notifications from WP 🙁

I don’t think I follow what you’re talking about. It sounds like a highly custom workflow, so I don’t know if it qualifies as a “BIG” shortcoming. If you’re talking about dynamically changing your layout etc. based on the content, then the “kosher” way of doing that in WP would be to put logic into your template files.

If there’s a feature you’d like to see implemented, you can make a request in the issue tracker: http://code.google.com/p/wordpress-custom-content-type-manager/issues/list
