Hi there, I am using your plugin and so far it is working great
I have on ecustom post type, the the URL I have clicked the "Rewrite with permalink front", I choose the permalink action "custom", and I put in a rewrite slug .... In the fields I have checked "hirarchical"

I have then written 4 posts and have decided to make one of them the parent. As from that moment on the child pages canot be found anymore.

    I always refresh the permalinks.

Okay, now I check the permalink option "postname", oops also no luck, okay then I do a final test here, THis time I check the perm, alink option "off" , refresh permalinks, like always and ..... this time it work but the url looks "ugly". pmmh I really like to use the option custom permalinks, have I found a bug ? then pls kill it :-)), or is it just me ....

    best regards

If it's a bug, then file it in the bug-tracker: http://code.google.com/p/wordpress-custom-content-type-manager/issues/list

The hierarchical stuff with foreign post types is experimental at this point: this is because WP has so thoroughly shot off its own foot here that it's hard for me to find all the caveats and reconstitue the "expected" behavior. Are you using only the native post type in the hierarchies?

I haven't done full permalink integration (see issue 10: http://code.google.com/p/wordpress-custom-content-type-manager/issues/detail?id=10), but that is already in the bug-tracker and will get addressed at some point in the future.

If you need immediate handling of the issue, contact me at the address here:
http://www.fireproofsocks.com/contact/ and I can fix it for a reasonable hourly rate.

Thanks for your quick reply, yes I am only using one post type in the hirarchy, is there some kind of workaround ?

Have you verified that your .htaccess file etc. is set up correctly to handle permalinks? Because the only "workarounds" I can recommend are to disable permalinks (as you noted), or hire me to prioritize and fix the bug/feature-request regarding permalinks.
