[Plugin: Custom Author Base] Author Page not found

    Hi,

    I have several blogs running on one WordPress Multisite. The Custom Author Base Plugin works fine for the main blog. Now I activated it for another blog. The link to the author’s page is displayed correctly but when I click on it I get an page not found error. I don’t know if it either depends on WPMU or if it is a consequence of that I have a static main page for that blog.

    I’m not familiar with plugin programming but I found out that adding a
    $wp_rewrite->flush_rules(); after the line $wp_rewrite->author_base = empty( $author_base ) ? 'author' : $author_base; in the function cab_init solves the problem. I don’t know if this is a good solution but for the moment it solves my problem.

    Maybe you can check that out and correct this in a future version.
